Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

Who we are

SolidUptime is an uptime monitoring service built and operated by Jordan. By using SolidUptime you agree to these terms. If you have questions, contact us at support@soliduptime.org.

The service

SolidUptime monitors URLs, TCP services, and TLS certificates on your behalf and sends alerts when issues are detected. We do our best to provide reliable monitoring but we do not guarantee 100% uptime of the monitoring service itself. SolidUptime is a tool to help you stay informed — it is not a substitute for your own incident response processes.

Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use SolidUptime.
  • One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free trial account.

Acceptable use

You may only use SolidUptime to monitor services you own or have explicit permission to monitor. You may not use SolidUptime to:

  • Monitor services without authorisation from the owner.
  • Generate excessive load on third-party services through abusive check frequencies.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the SolidUptime service.
  • Resell or sublicense access to SolidUptime without written permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

Subscription and billing

SolidUptime is offered on a subscription basis, billed monthly. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. By subscribing you authorise recurring charges to your payment method at the applicable plan rate.

Your free trial lasts 14 days from account creation. No payment is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period your account will pause unless you subscribe.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access until then. We do not prorate partial months.

Refunds

If you are not satisfied with SolidUptime, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase by emailing support@soliduptime.org. Refund requests made after 14 days will not be honoured except at our discretion. Free trial periods are not eligible for refunds as no payment is taken during the trial.

Data and privacy

Your use of SolidUptime is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the service you agree to the collection and use of data as described there.

Your data

You retain ownership of all data you bring to SolidUptime — your endpoints, configurations, and monitoring results. We do not claim any rights over your data. On account closure you may request an export of your data within 30 days by emailing support@soliduptime.org.

Service availability

We aim to keep SolidUptime running reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Scheduled maintenance, unexpected outages, or circumstances beyond our control may occasionally affect the service. We are not liable for losses arising from service unavailability.

Limitation of liability

SolidUptime is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to missed alerts, undetected downtime, or data loss. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days prior to the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the app. Continued use of SolidUptime after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
